※Introduction to the Center

      Founded in 2013, the VR Experimental Center of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering Chemistry is one of the first batch of national virtual simulation experiment teaching centers approved by the Ministry of Education of PR China. The center is based on the National Demonstration Center for Chemical Experimental Chemistry & Chemical Engineering Education of the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.

      The virtual simulation software and hardware system of the center is relatively perfect. By 2020, the center has two national virtual simulation projects (national first-class undergraduate courses), three provincial virtual simulation projects and 75 independent development projects. The center also has a series of teaching and scientific research virtual simulation systems, such as chemical laboratory safety, basic chemistry, chemical engineering practice and large-scale instruments. Its 3D-LED virtual reality system, high-performance server, computer simulation terminal, 3D printer and other supporting hardware facilities can meet all the requirements of virtual simulation experiment teaching and software development.
